Day 1: CUSCO - MOLLEPATA
- MARKOKASA:
You will be picked up from your hotel early in the
morning. We will cross little and picturesque villages
such as Izcuchaca, Zurite, Ancahuasi, and then the ruins
of Tarawasi. We will arrive at Mollepata, from here the
trek will begin. We will camp at the head of the trail,
Markokasa (L+D)
Day 2: MARKOKASA - CHOQUEKICLLA - SORAYPAMPA:
We start our trek escorted by a bilingual guide and crew.
Mules will carry all the luggage and a couple of saddle
horses will be available in case someone needs them. We
will camp at Soraypampa which is famous for its
spectacular views of two glaciers, Humantay and the
giant Salcantay which are 6,250 meters. (B+L+D)
Day 3: INCACHIRIASKA:
Today, we will slowly hike up to Salcantay pass 5,000
meters and then trek down to Incachiriaska which is a
beautiful meadow where we will camp. It has wonderful
overviews. (B+L+D)
Day 4 : PAUCARCANCHA:
After a healthy breakfast, we will start hiking. We will
proceed down to Sisaypampa where we will bypas the Inca
hamlet of Huayabamba. We will then go through an Andean
cloud forest to camp above the tree line at Paucarcancha.

Day 5 :PHUYUPATAMARCA:
We will wake up early in the morning today. We will
visit the ruins of Inkarakay. Then, we will start our
hike to the Warmiwanusca pass 4,100 mts (known as "Death
of the women pass") and then we will continue on to a
clear Inca Trail. This is one of the best days on the
Inca Trail. Later, we will visit the ruins of
Sayacmarca, Conchamarca and later camp near
Phuyupatamarca (City Above the Clouds). This area has
magnificent views of the Veronica and SalcantaY ranges.(B+L+D)
Day 6: MACHU PICCHU:
After an early start, we will proceed down through a set
of stairs to visit the Ruins of Winay Wayna (Forever
Young) and then through the "Gate of the Sun" (Inti
Punku), into MachuPicchu, the Lost City of the Incas.
Later, we will camp by the river. (B+L+D)
Day 7: MACHU PICCHU:
We will spend the day visiting this ancient Incan
Sanctuary. Late afternoon train back to Cusco. (B)
INCLUDES:
Transportation to the head of the trail. For the first
portion of the trek, we will have mules and horses, then
later we will have porters. All the meals during the
trek, professional Bilingual guide, Cook, assistant cook,
Llamas, double occupancy tents, dinning tent, kitchen
tent, bathroom tent. Entrance to the Inca Trail and
MachuPicchu.
YOU SHOULD BRING:
-Personal sleeping bag
-Warm Jacket or Sweater
-RainGear (from nov to april)
-T-shirt, short, long pants.
-Back pack, trekking shoes, sandals
-Sun hat, wool hat, sun glasses
-Water bottle,flash light, hat
-Personal clothing for trek
-Insect repellent, Suncream
-Personal medication
-Water purification tablets.
OPTIONAL: Extra nights in Machupicchu, Aguas
Calientes or Cusco, domestic airfares, trip extensions.
