Cusco Nature Package Tour - 7 days and 6 nights

Package price: US$1175 per person based on double occupancy as a party of 2 and
including accommodation at Orquidea Real or similar in Cusco .

horse riding adventure and a short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.
Day 1 CUSCO
Reception at the airport of Cusco and lodge at Orquidea Real Hostal .
(*NOTE: First Class or De Luxe Hotels available on request) In the
afternoon: Cusco City Tour From 1:15 p.m. Aprox
This tour includes the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and the Cathedral
and some other famous places like the famous fortress of Sacsayhuaman,
then to Q'enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay.
You will also receive a tourist ticket valid to many other sites you can
visit on your free time.
Overnight at the Hotel.
THREE – DAY- BIKE - ADVENTURE
During this tour we will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the
landscape and hot springs.
Day 2 MORAY – MARAS
We start our tour leaving Cusco early in the morning to catch the bus
which takes us to chequerec(chinchero).
The bus ride takes approx. 1 hour and 20 minutes. There we start our
cross adventure passing the lagoon of huaypo to the archeological
complex of moray where we enjoy the breath-taking view.
Continuing our tour, we arrive maras where the downhill part of approx.
1 hour begins.
Afterwards we enjoy a tasty lunch-picnic to get new power to go on with
the tour to the terraces of salt near maras.
>From maras to the terraces is downhill of 40 minutes length. After
visiting this interesting site we continue our ride down to the sacred
valley for circa
40 minutes (pichingoto, tarabamba).
Then we take the bus to our camp in calca near the hot springs called
machacancha.
The whole trip is of about 40 kilometers and takes 4 to 5 hours approx.
After a delicious dinner you can relax while taking a bath in the hot
springs.

Day 3 MACHACANCHA – LARES
At 7:00am in the morning we will serve you a “good morning tea” to wake
up the animal spirits.
At 8:00am breakfast is ready. We start our tour at approx. 9:00am to the
defile of lares, that is located at an altitude of circa 4.300m and
one and a half hour from our camp in machacancha. From the defile of
lares we ride downhill for approx. 20 minutes (20km) to the community of
pampa corral
(rural community). There we enjoy a tasty lunch and a short break to get
new power for the second part of our trip today.
After the lunch we continue our incredible tour to lares, 20km uphill
via road to arrive the district of lares. There are 20km left to get to
the village of lares (4hours approx. Of full action)
Our camp for tonight is situated in the area of the hot springs, located
10 minutes from lares. So if you want you can take a bath to relax.

Day 4 DEFILE OF LARES – CALCA
At 9:00am we take the bus which brings us back to the defile of lares (approx.
1 ½ hour).
Then the amusing part of our journey can begin, the 10km downhill via
horseshoe routes and ancient inca trails, passing
bridges and tombs, down to the community of torota.
After a delicious lunch we will ride 10km down to calca, via path,
passing machacancha to calca for approx. 3 hours.

Inka Trail 2 Days
Day 5 MACHUPICCHU
You will be picked up from your hotel around 6 am. Transfer from the
hotel to the train station where you will take the train to Km 104,
arriving
at approx. 10:30, from there we will start the hike. After about 3 hours
we will arrive at Wiñaywayna (2700m), walking 8 km, box lunch is
provided
on route. At Wiñaywayna we’ll explore the extensive Inca ruins,
undoubtedly the most spectacular ruins of the whole Inka Trail.
In the afternoon we go back on the trek, we'll arrive at the Inti Punku
(the Sun Gate) with beautiful views of Machu Picchu and then to Aguas
Calientes
where we will overnight in a hotel(B,Box lunch)
Day 6 MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO
After breakfast we will arrive at Machu Picchu ruins (2400m). Guided
tour of the ruins for approximately 2 hours followed by some time at
leisure, lunch provided.
In the afternoon we will take the backpacker train to Cusco. Overnight
at the hotel. (B,L)
KIDS under 12 years old or students -Discount $15.-usd per person.
We require a reservation of minimum 2 month working days in advance to
confirm the trip. Note: To apply to this discount it is necessary to
send us your scan copy ISIC (International Student identity Card).
Without this copy we will not be able to make the discount.

IMPORTANT NOTE OF INCA TRAIL

*Reservations need to be done two months prior to arrive to Cusco.
Nevertheless take note there is a limit of visitors per day so I suggest
you to book the trip as soon as possible to guarantee your spots.
*Remember to take your passport and your isic card on the inca trail
because without they you are not going to be able to do the hiking and
take only the necessary items for the 4/3 days trek, the rest of your
luggages you can leave it at your hotel in Cusco (most of hotels and
hostals has an storage where to keep until your return)
* Participants need to be in good physical health and condition to be
able to enjoy the Inka Trail. The trekking will be difficult if you have
not exercised regularly before your trip. To fully enjoy an Inka Trail
adventure, we advise passengers to get into an exercise program for
their own safety and enjoyment. If a passenger suffers from any medical
condition, we advise him/her to consult a physician about joining an
Inka Trail Expedition.
