Day 1 Cusco
Reception at the airport of
Cusco and lodge at Orquidea Real Hostal or similar tourist class
accommodations (*NOTE: First class or De luxe hotels available on
request) In the afternoon:
Cusco City Tour from 2
pm to 6:30 pm. This tour includes the Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun)
and the Cathedral. The tour drives along the Circunvalacion Road up to
famous fortress of Sacsahuaman, then to Q'enqo, Puca Pucara and
Tambomachay with Spanish and English speaking professional guide.
Includes Tourist ticket valid for the entrance to many museums and ruins
as well. Lodging at Orquidea Real.
Day 2 Sacred Valley Tour (Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday)
At 8:45 a.m. we will depart
for the Sacred Valley tour, that includes: Bus
service to the market of Pisaq, visits the ruins of
Ollantaytambo, and the market at Chinchero. There is an English speaking
guide, and lunch in a typical restaurant in Urubamba. Of course,
throughout this trip you will have magnificent views of the high
Peruvian Andes. At 18:00 hrs you arrive back at the Orquidea Real
Hostal. ( B,L )
Inka Trail 2 Days
* Participants need to be in
good physical health and condition to be able to enjoy the Inka Trail.
The trekking will be difficult if you have not exercised regularly
before your trip. To fully enjoy an Inka Trail adventure, we advise
passengers to get into an exercise program for their own safety and
enjoyment. If a passenger suffers from any medical condition, we advise
him/her to consult a physician about joining an Inka Trail Expedition.
Day 3
You will be picked up from
your hotel around 6 am.
Transfer from hotel to train station where you'll take the train to Km
104, arriving at approx. 10:30 am., from there we will start the hike.
After about 3 hours we will arrive at Wiñaywayna (2700m), walking 8
km,box lunch is provided on route. At Wiñaywayna we will explore the
extensive Inca ruins, undoubtedly the most spectacular ruins of the
whole Inka Trail. In the afternoon we go back on the trek, we'll arrive
at the Inti Punku (the Sun Gate) with beautiful views of Machu Picchu
and then to Aguas Calientes where we will overnight at the
Presidente Hostal (or similar). (B,Box Lunch)
Day 4
After breakfast we will arrive
at Machu Picchu ruins (2400m). Guided tour of the ruins for
approximately 2 hours followed by some time at leisure, lunch provided.
In the afternoon we will take the train back to Cusco. Overnight at
Orquidea Real Hostal . (B, L)
Day 5 Transfer out
Transfer to the airport (B)
End of the services
INKA TRAIL INCLUDES :
-Transportation to head of trail
-Entrance ticket to Inca Trail
-Meals as specified in the above itinerary

-Lodging in Aguas Calientes (Presidente Hostal or similar)

-Water bottle, flash light, hat, sun glasses, sun cream.

-Pills to purify the water
Note: You will need to leave your luggage at your Hotel's luggage desk
in Cusco before taking the Inca Trail hike up to Machu Picchu
