Day 1 CUSCO
Reception at the Cusco airport and lodge at Orquidea
Real Hostal or similar tourist class accommodations
(*NOTE: First class or De luxe hotels available on
request). In the afternoon:
Cusco
City Tour from 2 pm to 6:30 pm. This tour includes the
Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun) and the Cathedral. The
tour drives along the Circunvalacion Road up to famous
fortress of Sacsahuaman, then to Q'enqo, Puka Pucara and
Tambomachay with Spanish and English speaking
professional guide. Includes tourist ticket valid for
the entrance to many museums and ruins as well. Lodging
at Orquidea Real.
Day 2 SACRED VALLEY TOUR (TUESDAY, THURSDAY AND
SUNDAY)
At 8:45 a.m. we will depart for the
Sacred Valley tour, that includes: Bus service to
the market of Pisaq, visits the
ruins of Ollantaytambo, and the market at Chinchero.
There is an English speaking guide, and lunch in a
typical restaurant in Urubamba. Of course, throughout
this trip you will have magnificent views of the high
Peruvian Andes. At 18:00 hrs you arrive back at the
Orquidea Real Hostal. ( B,L )
Day 3 RAFTING
Breakfast. At 09:00 hrs. we leave for Urubamba river on
the Sacred Valley of the Incas (North of Cusco), where
our guide will give a introductory chat on safety and
equipment for our trip running the Urubamba. After lunch
we return back to Cusco, arriving at around 17:00 hrs.

Day 4 through 8 Inka trail Premium
(Private Service)
Departure for "Inca Trail" the most famous trekking of
South America, following Bingham's footsteps
IInclude: Bus service until km 82,
entrance ticket to the Inca trail, professional English
and Spanish speaking guide, tents, bath tent, cook tent,
carriers, extra porters for your personal items,
breakfasts lunches and dinners (as explained below),
complete Machu Picchu's ruins tour, train ticket back to
Cusco.
KIDS under 12 years old or students -Discount
$25.-usd per person. We require a reservation of minimum
2 months working days in advance to confirm the trip.
Note: To apply to this discount it is necessary to
send us your scancopy ISC (International Student Card).
Without this copy we will not be able to make the
discount.
Day 4: We start our trek
escorted by native "quechua" porters going through
semi-arid terrain along the Urubamba river with
magnificent views of snow capped mount Veronica, later
going through Llactapata, an ancient Inca citadel that
protected the entry to two valleys. (B+L+D)
Kilometers walking: 12 Km. (Km.82 to
Huayllabmba)
Altitude: Cusco (3400 m) - Chillca (2720 m) -
Huayllabamba (2950 m)
Day 5: Today the first part of
the trek takes us to the Inca Hamlet of Huayabamba,
later going through Warmiwañuska pass (4200 mt), known
as "dead woman's pass". (B+L+D)
Kilometers walking: 12 Km. (Huayllabamba
to Pacaymayo)
Altitude: Huayllabamba (2950 m.) - Pakaymayu (3600 m.)
Day 6: Walking on a remarkably
preserved Inca Trail passing ancient archaeological
sites covered by dense jungle overgrowth, later visiting
the Phuyupatamarca (city above clouds) with spectacular
view of snow covered Andean ranges, camping at
Wyñaywayna, probably the most spectacular archaeological
complex during the trek. (B+L+D)
Kilometers walking: 16 Km. (Pacaymayo
to Wiñayhuayna)
Altitude: Pakaymayo (3600 m.) - Wiñaywayna (2700 m.)
Day 7: Passing through the
Intipuncu (gates of the sun) , we arrive to Machu Picchu,
the lost city of the Incas, then late in the afternoon
to Aguas Calientes where we will overnight in the tents
or in a hotel (ask for price). (B+L)
Kilometers walking: 5 Km. (Wiñayhuaina
to Machu Picchu)
Altitude: Wiñayhuayna (2700 m.) - Machu Picchu (2400
m.)- Cusco (3400 m.)
Day 8: Early morning rise and
after breakfast we'll take a bus up to visit Machupicchu.
An optional hike for the more dynamic persons up to
Huaynapicchu, the pyramid shape peak that overlooks
Machu Picchu. In the afternoon we will take the train
back to Cusco. Overnight at Orquidea Real Hostal (B)

Breakfast varies from day to day and can include:

* Participants need to be in good
physical health and condition to be able to enjoy the
Inka Trail. The trekking will be difficult if you have
not exercised regularly before your trip. To fully enjoy
an Inka Trail adventure, we advise passengers to get
into an exercise program for their own safety and
enjoyment. If a passenger suffers from any medical
condition, we advise him/her to consult a physician
about joining an Inka Trail Expedition.
Day 9 Transfer out
Transfer to the airport and end of the services (B)
